COURSE DESCRIPTION
When a client divorces, carefully planned trust and estate plans come undone or no longer make sense. Unwinding those plans, to the extent possible, and substituting new plans, often involving new spouses and stepchildren in blended families, can be challenging - both at the level of substantive law and in tax consequences. This program will provide you with a guide to trust and estate planning issues when a client divorces.
